Friends since their school days
and individual DJ's in their
own right,
the Summer of 2003 saw
Darren (Clark) &
Ali (Owen-Thomas)
start DJing occasional nights
together at Matt & Matt Bar in
Angel, London.
The DJ'ing Duo were offered a subsequent residency and
Brighton Rocks!
came to full fruition
in early 2004.

Why Brighton Rocks!'?
Well...why not! after all... it does!
and....
it used to be our chosen venue
for many a night's Bar & Club antics.
Plus,once the logo had been chosen,
it was SO! not gonna change...

A brief tribute to Matt & Matt...where it all began...
The proud caretakers of the most glittering and beautiful crowd of
bar-goers in London. Massive amount of thanks and gratitude to
Matt & Matt - “the, two, most amazing people we have ever had
the fortune to DJ for… and a bar that is the inspirational example
of where a great night out should take place”.
Unfortunately Matt & Matt succumbed to the forces of London's ever spriralling rental costs and ceased to be in Summer 2008. But we went out with one hell of a bang on the last Saturday of June.
But fear not... Brighton Rocks! shall go on.

Vocal, Uplifting, Filthy, Funky, Cheeky, Chunky,
Soulful, Chicago, Dirty & Detroit.

The Philosophy
Brighton Rocks! is a collection of
selective, individual DJ's
with a common passion,
'a love of music'.
We are not a DJ agency, but a cheeky, music loving promotion with a compliment of regular playing DJ's.
We also have a number of guest artists that we are honoured to have had join the foray from time to time.

Mixing ability and choice of music is a very important part of any DJ's repertoire.
But what makes our 'nights' special?... we know that the most
crucial element is YOU,
the bar/club-goers.
Every Brighton Rocks! DJ has the individual aptitude & dexterity to choose and mix the best selection of tunes coupled with the ability to inspire the crowd with a natural and playful confidence.
Add a Brighton Rocks! DJ or DJs,
a selection of House Music
and a mixing desk...
The effect is pure synergy.
