A little bit a history about me
Overall highlight of my DJ career - has to be playing a set at the official after party for the closing of Miss Moneypenny's (Ibiza).
DJing really kicked off though, in the same way as most house aficionados… Got to know the owners of a local record shop and started hunting down tunes I had heard on the “Essential Selection”.
From there I bought my first pair of decks (thank you granny - she unfortunately passed away and left me some money to “invest”).
My first `break' came when my sisters' boyfriend took me along to his residency in Bognor (the British Riviera at its finest!!). He then took two months off, to travel, and I stepped in as resident (Sheiks Nightclub
on the pier!!).
I then played the usual assortment of house-parties and started to work out that US house was what I wanted to play.
My true break came when I started at Southampton University and got offered a couple of spots at the bar (the Boiler House) located in my halls.
This moved onto me warming up at a couple of student balls (put on for my Halls …thanks all of you lot from Monte).

I was then offered a couple of warm-ups at the main campus bar and was then asked to take the position of resident DJ for the main University events.
The Highlights being....
-Warm-up for Danny Rampling, Binary Finary and The Dreem-Teem (Radio 1).
-Headline House DJ opposite - Fabio, Grooverider (various Drum & Bass,
breaks DJs).
During my time at University I was also involved in the setup and running of a website called www.clubber.co.uk
(unfortunately no longer running) and got involved in a hellishly, hedonistic, amount of partying. Highlights that have no legal repercussions -
DJing alongside: Seamus Haji, Dope Smugglaz.
Since leaving Southampton, I spent six months living in the Alps and got to play a set in a snowboard comp along with various sets in bars and clubs.
On my return, I took over as resident in a couple of venues locally and have been fortunate enough to play in Ibiza, Privilege, Turnmills & Pacha (london), Zap (Brighton)
and run some awesome nights with
Brighton Rocks!.
Massive amount of thanks and gratitude to
Matt & Matt.
